We are looking for a motivated, agile and collaborative Cash Manager with a “can do” spirit and first experience in financial services. Reporting to the Head of Investments, you will become part of cash and liquidity management specialists, ensuring that short-term cash needs are covered in time and in accordance with corporate and internal guidelines, while optimising short-term investment return.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Manage daily liquidity (cash monitoring, bank account reconciliation) and support the liquidity planning process, together with the Senior Cash & Treasury Manager
  • Accomplish the necessary intra-company payments and external payment runs
  • Manage and produce several reports (e.g. daily liquidity management, MRT liquidity, collateral assets, counterparty risk exposure etc.)
  • Reconciliation and recording of bank advises/statements
  • Support collateral management and related tasks (e.g. margining process, (Reverse) Repo-business, collateral accounts)
  • Assisting the Head of Investments (e.g. with project work, bank conditions, reporting, budget and securities transactions)

 

Your Profile

  • Commercial apprenticeship “EFZ” or B.Sc. in Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent
  • 1-5 years’ professional experience in financial services (insurance, banks)
  • Balance sheet and income statement know-how and basic knowledge of (investment) accounting and reporting
  • Knowledge of Excel and prior knowledge and/or willingness to learn related programming languages (VBA, Power BI)
  • Proactive team player with good communications skills, flexible and attention to detail
  • Reliable, responsive and willing to learn
  • Very good command of English and German
