To strengthen our Life Hedging Operations team, we are looking for a strong team player with experience in derivatives. The successful candidate will become part of a motivated and open-minded team that takes pride in a collaborative and flexible work mode which is based on trust and support.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor hedging platform for daily derivatives trading and hedge administrator activities (i.e. trade confirmations etc.) and cover underlying documentation
  • Review incoming reporting of reconciliation, settlement and valuation of market index alignments & initiate respective escalation processes
  • Perform monthly, quarterly & YE closing procedures in an accurate manner and in line with audit regulations
  • Oversee administrative closing process for portfolio bookings and collateral management
  • Review and update existing back-office process documentation
  • Support additional reporting activities (e.g. to NewRe/Munich Re Group divisions)
  • Substitute colleagues and organise own substitution in advance of planned absences

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 4-6 years’ relevant Middle/Back-office experience
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Experienced user of a derivatives management system
  • Strong technical, analytical and organisational skills
  • Good social and communication skills
  • Strong client responsiveness and open to new approaches
  • Ability to work independently, reliably and consistently
  • Fluent in English, additional German highly preferred
