To strengthen our Business Support Unit team (BSU), we are looking for a Specialist with an ability to understand complex reinsurance products/structures. Reporting to the Head of BSU, you will become part of a motivated team that takes pride in a collaborative and flexible work mode that is based on trust and dedication/support.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Manage a Non-Life reinsurance portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely execution of treaty administration, technical accounting, claims handling and cash management activities
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in reinsurance accounting processes and provide reliable support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and deliver data and documentation required for external audit activities
  • Actively participate in the quarterly closing process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Support financial reporting activities and contribute to the quality and accuracy of financial statements
  • Provide administrative support to the team and contribute to the efficient operation of the department
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge of reinsurance business, accounting standards and regulatory requirements

 

Your Profile

  • Experience in Non-Life reinsurance accounting with a sound understanding of technical accounting, reinsurance processes and products
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Good technical flair and the ability to learn and work with specialized systems and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of IFRS 17 in insurance or reinsurance environment is a plus
  • Proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to share knowledge
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexible, Independent, structured and reliable working style with a high degree of accuracy
