The Resource Analyst reports to the Resource Analyst Manager.  The resource analyst plays a critical role in analyzing data for the purpose of optimizing the deployment of HSB’s field inspection force on a national basis.  Works closely with the Inspection Services Field management, Home Office management and Inspectors to deliver value added inspection services through constant analysis of territory, capacity/demand models, and profile setups.  Provides continuous monitoring, and analysis of inspection needs, status and inventory.  Analyzes and reviews Gantt charts, spreadsheets, overdue lists, and territory setups and recommends changes and/or enhancements that impact expenses,  inspections and customer service.  Gather and analyze data sets while identifying discrepancies or value added opportunities.  Determine and communicate definitions of data and quality of data to effectively communicate findings to internal and external customers.     

 

Education & Experience 

  • College degree or equivalent work experience is required 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business or Engineering is preferred 
  • 3+ years’ experience Customer service  
  • 3+ years’ experience Inspection dispatching  
  • Customer service training and/or certification 

 

Knowledge & Skills 

  • Strong customer service skills  
  • Communications skills (verbal and written)  
  • Detail oriented  
  • Time management skills
