Great Lakes Australia (GLA) is the Australian branch of Great Lakes Insurance SE (GLISE) and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Munich Reinsurance Company.
GLA is authorised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) to operate as a general insurer in Australia, and by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand to carry on business as a general insurer in New Zealand.
Great Lakes underwrites selective local primary niche business under the result responsibility of SFR. GLA has access to the experience and expertise of Munich Re (Group) to facilitate the research and development of niche programmes for our clients.
Your Role
- Perform timely and accurate recording of all claims, policy and premium information on bordereau for Corporate business on a monthly basis
- Process MGA Written, Claims and Premium bordereaux within agreed service standards on a monthly basis
- Maintain high standard of data integrity for allocated for MGA and Corporate portfolios
- Liaise with Claims team, Data and Systems Team members and MGAs to identify and address client data integrity issues or internal procedural errors
- Respond to client and internal enquiries relating to policy, claims data and reports. Build relationships with appropriate client contacts.
- Prepare Test Cases and carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on new developments, changes or bug fixes to GLA’s version of DFEnS and GLA reports.
- Develop and prepare bordereau requirements documents for as part of the MGA onboarding process or when there changes are made to the bordereau templates.
Your Profile
- Experience in General or Direct Insurance claims and premium administration
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (can perform advanced functions)
- Tertiary qualifications in Insurance, Business Management, or a related field. General Insurance qualifications will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
