Title: Corporate Services Assistant (contract)

The Corporate Services team focusses on the smooth day to day running of the office, coordination of Munich Re Australia’s events and internal communications and marketing.
Corporate services is responsible for the following areas: building and facilities management, corporate events, procurement, communications and marketing.
You will report to the Corporate Services Manager.
Your Role
This is a maximum term contract until the end of December 2025.
Events coordination:
- Coordination and planning of internal events linked to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), wellbeing, community charity and corporate initiatives, along with external client events and conferences
- Examples include the end of year party, Oktoberfest, culture week and multiple cultural events throughout the year, bring your whole self to work festivities and charity projects
- Preparing rooms for event set up and set down
Facilities administration
- Support the Corporate Services Manager with business memberships and subscriptions
- Participate in relevant training to be a fire warden and first aid contact for staff and maintain first aid facilities
Office Administration
- Provide ad hoc administration support for Corporate Services
- Main travel booking contact for international assignments
- Provide Munich Re reception relief
Your Profile
- 3+ years experience in hospitality, workplace management or administration
- Proven proactivity, strong administration, organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office and computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively build trust, credibility and maintain strong relationships
- This opportunity would suit full time or part time (covering Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)
