The successful candidate will be part of the Compliance function that is responsible for the implementation of compliance & regulatory programmes for Munich Re Singapore.


During your Internship you will gain valuable experience and insight in practical compliance activities in the Life & Health and Non-Life reinsurance industry, including an understanding of regulations and laws affecting the reinsurance business.
 

 

Your Role: 

  • Assist in the review, improvement and documentation of internal controls for Munich Re Singapore Branch’s regulatory reinsurance requirements, covering areas such as insurance supervisory law, anti-money laundering, sanctions compliance, data protection and outsourcing;
  • Conduct and document legal and regulatory research on compliance-related topics
  • Support with the review and enhancement of the Company’s compliance processes, guidelines and documentation;
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Regional Compliance Officer

 

Your Profile: 

  • Undergraduate student in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Governance or related discipline
  • Ability to work independently with good prioritization skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
  • Demonstrate a logical, concise thinking approach with an eye for detail
  • Display energy and enthusiasm in approaching the role and maintains high level of productivity
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills
