Job Summary

Reporting to the Strategic HR Business Partner, the Senior HR Business Partner will be the main contact for dedicated leaders in Singapore and APAC MEA. You will act as a trusted advisor to the business as well as a connector within the Global HR function, delivering on the HR strategy, whilst ensuring it meets business objectives, and promoting an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

 

 

Role Profile

  • Partner with (senior) business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end Talent Review process, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership for talent planning and succession management.
  • Drive the Strategic Workforce Planning process; facilitating strategic conversations with the business, supporting leaders in navigating their data and insights and ensuring commitment to meaningful action planning.
  • Provide direct support to leaders and managers on all Organisation Design and development aspects.
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed about, and actively support, key DEI initiatives, aligning with the global DEI strategy.
  • In collaboration with the Rewards Specialists; ensure that Compensation Strategies align with business objectives, help to attract and retain top talent, ensure internal equity, and comply with regional and global regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the delivery of a holistic Employee Experience strategy by leveraging feedback, data insights, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance engagement, drive a positive workplace culture, and support talent retention across all touchpoints of the employee lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with Group HR to drive the successful execution of the HR strategy, leveraging their expertise and support to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Represent HR in relevant country / business Executive Committees and with Regulatory bodies.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Leverage HR metrics and use data to influence decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR centres of excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Development, Rewards) to ensure the Business is able to attract, recruit, develop and retain talent.

 

Your Profile

  • Able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and regulations, ensuring HR practices are compliant with local legal requirements and aligned with best practices in the region.
  • Degree-qualified, ideally with a HR qualification.
  • Comprehensive experience in a HR role, with at least 5 years in an advisory / partnering capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in coaching senior managers and handling complex employee relations issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
