Project Manager

This role sits within the Life & Health Operations function and is based in Singapore, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of a range of strategic and operational business initiatives. This includes overseeing project planning, execution, management and delivery of various business projects, while ensuring effective resource management, proactive risk mitigation, and timely issue escalation. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and budget, driving successful outcomes that support the organization's business objectives.
Your Role
- Manage project deliverables, ensuring compliance with established project management standards and best practices.
- Define the migration path from the current state to the desired future state, considering time, budget and resource constraints.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, the lead team and steering committee members to scope, and manage, project deliverables in order to achieve the optimal business outcomes.
- Manage project resources, tracking progress against budget and deadlines.
- Ensure that all stakeholders and steering committee members are kept informed of project status through regular reporting.
- Identify potential roadblocks and risks, taking appropriate and timely action (including escalation, where necessary) to minimise any adverse impact.
- Utilise appropriate tools and techniques to manage the critical path and support change activities.
- Deliver quality approved project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Support the Operations Team with ad-hoc tasks (e.g. organising seminars), as and when required.
Your Profile

- Experience in managing projects and delivering outcomes.
- At least 10 years of experience working in a similar capacity in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of the Reinsurance business would be advantageous.
