Based in Singapore, you will report to the Head of Employee Advisory APAC & Australia HR Lead.
Your Team
The Employee Advisory Partner team provides guidance for all aspects of the employee journey where there are highly sensitive or individualised topics and needs. Focus areas include:
- Supporting key moments
- Navigating complex situations
- Navigating career development questions
- Strengthening engagement & community
- Providing employee relations guidance
- Ensuring compliant, supportive workplaces
Your Role
- Responsible for guiding all aspects of the employee journey for staff based in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Australia.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for employees on sensitive topics, including concerns, informal complaints, performance questions and workplace issues.
- Advice on complex employee issues and provide guidance on employee relations cases to support effective resolution.
- Help employees navigate their career development path and connect them with resources and colleagues to support their growth.
- Advice employees on ‘grey areas’ and assist them to navigate complex situations that go beyond policies and procedures, including life events, health challenges, leave, caregiving, role changes, and reintegration into work.
- Engage with new joiners during orientation and at exit to gather insights that enhance the employee experience and improve retention.
- Strengthen engagement and community by collaborating with topic owners (such as DEI and Wellbeing) to ensure offerings resonate with employees and support the advancement of an inclusive workplace.
- Collaborate with experts to ensure employee processes and procedures comply with local legislation and regulations, and monitor and update them as changes occur.
- Analyse HR metrics, including employee feedback and case data, to drive continuous improvement in processes, policies, and offerings that enhance the employee experience.
- Participate in regional and global projects related to the employee life cycle and journey.
Your Profile
- Degree-qualified, preferably with a qualification in Human Resources
- Experience in an HR Advisory or HR generalist role with a focus on employee relations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Australia (essential).
- Experience within the Financial Services industry is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a regional and global team.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
