There is an exciting opportunity for penultimate and final year students to join our CLR Processes and Experience Study Team as an Actuarial intern. You will support and coordinate the modelling activities related to pricing, valuation, experience study in the Asia, Australia, and South Africa market. Our team is embedded in Central Life Reserving team in Singapore, which is covering all relevant global and local valuation bases including Solvency II, IFRS17, IFRS9 and local statutory reporting.
Your Role:

Support the regional modelling team in quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc modelling activities at a regional level, ensuring timely delivery of multiple internal and external reporting requirements. These include Group Solvency II, Group IFRS 17, Group IFRS 9, and local statutory reporting.

Develop and maintain Valuation, Pricing, and Experience Study actuarial models using AXIS (training provided), ensuring high-quality modelling outputs that meet both local and group reporting standards, as well as experience study analysis requirements.

Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of valuation data, assumptions, models, and processes, supported by comprehensive documentation.

Provide assistance on various ad-hoc actuarial projects and tasks as needed.
Your Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbal and written).

Familiarity with life and health insurance business operations is an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to perform complex functions; knowledge of VBA, LLM and SQL is an advantage.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R is an advantage
