This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for students to join our CLR Global Functional Leaders (GFL) Support and Business Process Management (BPM) Team as an Actuarial Intern between January to May 2026. In this role, you will support our activities in process optimization, automation, and governance enhancement. With the aim of improving transparency, efficiency, and governance across Life & Health Re valuation—including cost management and valuation model governance—our team collaborates closely with other CLR teams, regional and local valuation teams, and various stakeholders to drive improvements in reserving.
Your Role
- Assist with data validation and preparation for experience study models, and support technical modelling views for studies conducted by local teams.
- Assist in conducting univariate and multivariate analyses under guidance.
- Support valuation process information collection and analysis to identify inefficiencies, and assist in summarizing findings.
- Support automation initiatives.
- Help prepare reports, templates, and dashboards to enhance valuation process transparency, efficiency, and KPI tracking.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbal and written).
- Familiarity with life and health insurance business operations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to perform complex functions, and programming languages such as Python or R is an advantage
- Familiarity with LLM, Business Process Management, Power BI or Power Automate is a plus.
