Agro Digital Sales Consultant
São Paulo, SP, BR
The insurance and reinsurance industry is undergoing rapid digital transformation — and agricultural risk management is part of this evolution. Be a catalyst for change by joining Munich Re in merging deep underwriting expertise with cutting-edge technology.
We’re looking for a Sales Consultant to champion client engagement and drive adoption of the Agro Digital Suite (ADS) — Munich Re’s digital platform for agricultural insurance. This role is key to helping clients embrace digital underwriting and portfolio management, while supporting sustainability and governance objectives.
YOUR JOB
- Drive the full sales cycle for digital solutions — from pipeline generation and client engagement to contract negotiation and closure.
- Lead project execution to ensure outstanding client experiences, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, client management, underwriting, and technology teams to deliver integrated, client-centric solutions.
- Understand and evolve platform capabilities, contributing to development through a joint IT-business approach and challenging feature requirements from a business perspective.
- Shape the solution roadmap by leveraging client feedback and market insights to prioritize impactful enhancements.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through digital transformation and helping them unlock business value through data science, AI, and cloud platforms (especially Azure).
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in partnership with client teams, expanding adoption and impact.
- Work effectively across global teams and cultures, ensuring scalable and locally relevant digital implementations.
- Manage stakeholders with precision, fostering trust, alignment, and broad buy-in across internal and external audiences.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Agronomy or Agricultural Engineering.
- Eight or more years of experience in digital solution sales from top-tier software companies or comparable experience from Agro digital solutions providers or high-growth startups.
- Proven success in selling complex digital platforms, including enterprise software, SaaS, and cloud-based solutions — with excellence in pipeline management, multi-stage sales cycles, RFPs, and contract negotiation.
- Skilled in consultative selling, translating technical features into business value, and navigating complex buying committees with executive presence.
- Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (especially Azure), data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau), and familiarity with programming languages (Python, R) and AI/ML.
- Agile project management experience across insurance, reinsurance, IT, or related fields, with a bias for action and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Quick learner with creative problem-solving, sound decision-making, and excellent time management.
- Outstanding communication, intercultural fluency, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in business English.
