With this opportunity, your primary responsibility will be to assist our MR F&C Corporate underwriting teams.

You will prepare larger insurance policies for all lines of business and perform related policy administration responsibilities.  The role interacts as needed with underwriting, accounting, product development, and operations counterparts to resolve any issues related to policy issuance, administration, and bookings.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble insurance policies and amendments for multiple lines of business in required timeframes
  • Enter policy information into company systems
  • Store policy documents according to internal processes
  • Investigate policy administration errors
  • Accurately prepare legal notices and ensure proper mailing to insureds as directed
  • Interact with internal and some external clients
  • Recognize and resolve conflicting instructions
  • Recommend improvements to work processes
  • Assist in the training and development of less experienced team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in servicing commercial insurance policies
  • Ability to service numerous internal and external clients 
  • Ability to learn and work with multiple workflow management tools, and strong organizational skills to keep track of pending items
  • Ability to perform insurance policy data entry and understand coding requirements
  • Basic knowledge of primary and/or reinsurance underwriting process and coverage
  • Intermediate to expert level computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Excellent customer service skills with successful ability to take ownership of and resolve issues
  • Detail oriented and results-driven
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

 

The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company’s Princeton location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $60,000 - $78,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.  In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).  The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
