Responsibilities:

- Prepares and edits legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Organizes and maintains legal files, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Manages scheduling and communication.
- Schedules larger events and meetings.
- Identifies areas for process and/or efficiency improvements.
- Performs administrative tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned and in coordination with supervising attorney.
- Works under moderate supervision of one or more attorneys to support moderate and / or complex projects, analyses, or internal clients and interfaces with external parties.
- Moderate autonomy and discretion at this level. Generally operates under general direction from legal or compliance department management.
- Visibly accountable to team, department, and/or company.
- Uses moderate judgment and discretion based on knowledge and experience, subject to attorney oversight.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities

- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain paper and digital filing systems, manage calendars, and schedule appointments
- Proficient in use of office software including Microsoft Office and related products, operating printers, scanners and other office equipment
- Attention to detail including proofreading documents, ensuring data accuracy, and handling sensitive information with confidentiality
- Time management skills including prioritizing daily tasks, meeting tight deadlines, and multitasking in fast-paced settings
- Ability to address and resolve day-to-day office challenges
- Possess a polite, patient and professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
- 3 or more years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel nationally; up to 10%.
The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company’s Princeton location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $62,000 - $88,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
