IT Support Knowledge Specialist Intern – Summer Intern

 

 

The Company

 

Munich Re America Services (MRAS) is a shared service organization that delivers services to all Munich Re US P&C Companies and other group entities.

 

The Opportunity

The IT Support Knowledge Specialist Intern will gain real-world application of the business and technical writing skills, and attention to detail being developed through their educational programs. As part of this role in IT support, the intern will be introduced to multiple business and IT teams and learn more about multiple job functions and products.

 

The role is being offered in Princeton, NJ or as a remote employee. This role is being offered through the summer with potential for part-time opportunities throughout the school year.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review, create and update knowledge articles (used by IT support and end-users)
  • Assist with the maintenance of the ITSM tool (e.g. products, assignment groups)
  • Participate in project meetings to help manage the impact on IT support
  • Works with service owners to shift work left and create meaningful KB articles
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required

 

Job Requirements:

  • Grade Level: Rising sophomores (2029)  and juniors (2028); master’s students will not be considered
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Strong communication skills (written English)
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Solid writing skills required
  • Knowledge of MS Office

 

This role will be based in Princeton, NJ or any remote location. The base range for this internship will be $17.50 - $23.00 per hour. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate will include your specific skills, level of schooling and how many years of experience.
