The Opportunity
As a Data Analysis & Engineering Intern, one would be responsible for helping build the Data Product across domains, and have the opportunity to work on the following tasks in an Agile team style:
- Communicate with Business Team to understand and analyze data requirements
- Identify data sources and build mapping to support modeling & architecture design
- Ingest and transform data by IICS & DataBricks to implement data model
- Create Power BI visualization for business use cases
Responsibilities:
- Develop internal tools to help team build data solutions
- Perform data analysis on various forms of data
- Communicate with multiple shareholders, integrate data from multiple sources and build data products
- Perform Data Validation and Data Quality Checks for data obtained from various sources
- Perform exploratory data analysis to understand structure and gaps in data
- Perform ETL process for various data in accordance to the established standards
Qualifications:
- The role is based in Princeton, NJ. Candidates must be willing to relocate.
- Accepted Grade: Master’s student
- Accepted Majors: Computer Science, Information Systems or Data Science
- Candidates must possess all of the following skillsets:
- Python or Pyspark
- SQL - data querying, manipulation and analysis or equivalent
- ADF or other ETL equivalent
- Datalake
- Azure Cloud knowledge / Azure DevOps
- Other Skills
- PowerBI or equivalent, Databricks, insurance knowledge
- Experience in object oriented programming
