Data Analysis & Engineering Intern

As a Data Analysis & Engineering Intern, one would be responsible for helping build the Data Product across domains, and have the opportunity to work on the following tasks in an Agile team style:

•           Communicate with Business Team to understand and analyze data requirements

•           Identify data sources and build mapping to support modeling & architecture design

•           Ingest and transform data by IICS & DataBricks to implement data model

•           Create Power BI visualization for business use cases

Responsibilities

• Develop internal tools to help team build data solutions
• Perform data analysis on various forms of data
• Communicate with multiple shareholders, integrate data from multiple sources and build data products
• Perform Data Validation and Data Quality Checks for data obtained from various sources
• Perform exploratory data analysis to understand structure and gaps in data
• Perform ETL process for various data in accordance to the established standards

Qualifications

•   Grade Level: undergraduate rising Junior (2028) or rising Senior (2027) or Master’s students
•   Preferred Major: Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems

•   Python or Pyspark
•   SQL - data querying, manipulation and analysis or equivalent
•   ADF or other ETL equivalent
•   Azure Cloud knowledge / Azure DevOps
•   Datalake
•   Computer Skills: Programming an data analysis

This role will be based in Princeton, New Jersey The base range for this internship will be $21.00 - $32.00 per hour. The hourly estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate will include your specific skills, how many years of experience and education you have in comparison to other employees already in this role.
