Account Services Intern – Summer 2026

Munich Re America Services (MRAS) is a shared service organization that delivers services to all Munich Re US P&C Companies and other group entities.

In this position, the Account Services Intern
will be obtaining a broad understanding of reinsurance contracts, policies, claims, and accounting information of ceding companies. Our intern will also gain strong data analytical skills using Microsoft Access.

 


Responsibilities

  • Review contracts and gather corresponding financial accounts
  • Organize accounts and spreadsheets for future use
  • Help verify accuracy of ceding company reports
  • Run reports and create roadmaps for reconciliations
  • Run analytics of ceding company data to identify errors/omissions

Qualifications

  • Grade Level: Undergraduate Rising Junior or Rising Senior 
  • Preferred Major: Accounting Major
  • Accepted Majors: Finance, Business or Risk Management and Insurance majors
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Ability to read and analyze contracts
  • Critical thinking
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer Skills: Excel, Word, SQL preferred

 

 

This role will be based in Princeton, New Jersey The base range for this internship will be $21 - $22 per hour. The hourly estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate will include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
