We are seeking a full time Regional Vice President to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division as a Hybrid employee in our New York, NY office. This position will report to the President of Roanoke Insurance Group.

 

 

Job Profile

  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the New York regional office, fostering an open and inclusive culture that aligns with our company's Culture Cornerstones (#BePresent, #BeCurious, #BeBold)
  • Lead and motivate a team of dedicated professionals, including Regional Product Managers, Business Development Executives and Strategic Relationship Managers, to achieve their individual and collective goals
  • Provide opportunities to ensure the teams have the deepest understanding in the industry of our clients, their risks, and the market dynamics
  • Uphold a commitment to delivering exceptional client service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the region's unique market dynamics
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure sales targets and objectives are met or exceeded, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective sales tactics
  • Take overall responsibility for the regional office budget, including revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Participate in client visits and regional industry functions to represent Roanoke’s interests

 

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years brokerage experience
  • Valid Insurance Producer license
  • Proven track record of successful leadership in a brokerage or financial services environment
  • Strong sales and business development acumen, with a deep understanding of the logistics and customs brokerage industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team to achieve ambitious targets
  • Financial expertise and experience managing budgets
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture
  • A passion for change, growth and clients we serve
  • Present where needed at industry functions
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products

 

MRSGM N.A. is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including New York, NY. The salary range posted below applies to the Company’s New York, NY location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $150,000.00 to $180,000.00. In addition, the Company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401k match, paid holidays, sick time, and paid vacation. The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in New York, NY. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
