This is a key role providing strategic support for the MRS-NA President & CEO and for enterprise .  This role reports to the President & CEO of MRS-NA and is a member of the MRS-NA Executive Leadership Team.  This role will ensure that MRS-NA business priorities are executed upon and the impact of these priorities are effectively monitored. This role has a key responsibility to support a strong environment of accountability for all goals and initiatives. In addition, the role will be responsible for leading key strategic projects, participating on project teams or representing the MRS-NA CEO in certain meetings or events.

 

Responsibilities:

In this position you will:

 

Strategic Partnership to Executive Leadership

  • Partner closely with the President, Head of Finance and Strategy, and Executive Leadership Team to shape, refine, and operationalize MRS‑NA strategy. Lead development, alignment, and governance of MRS‑NA 6‑block ambitions.
  • Translate strategic priorities into executable agendas, milestones, and decision frameworks. 
  • Serve as strategic advisor to President, providing independent thought partnership and challenge to ensure clarity, rigor, and alignment

 

Enterprise Program & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead or co‑lead complex, multi‑year, cross‑functional initiatives within MRSNA and at GSI level
  • Establish governance, decision logs, milestones, and escalation paths
  • Act as integrator across Finance, Underwriting, Operations, Claims, IT, HR, Risk, and Legal

 

Change, Communications & Engagement

  • Support the shaping of executive messaging for Town Halls and major change moments and advise and support internal communications and production teams.
  • Ensure consistent communication across leadership and broader organization. Audiences can be internal and external and include but are not limited to clients, industry, internal staff and local, regional and global leadership
  • Support culture, engagement, and inclusion initiatives.

 

Executive Governance & Operating Rhythm

  • Own the ELT operating cadence, including agendas, materials, decision tracking, and follow‑ups
  • Prepare and synthesize executive‑level materials for all ELT meetings, MRSNA Town Halls, and Board forums.
  • Ensure meetings drive decisions and action, not just information sharing

 

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess the following experience/skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business discipline
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges relevant to insurance companies
  •  7+ years of relevant professional experience.  Experience in project management, strategic consulting, and organizational performance.
  • 3+ years experience in initiating, managing and leading projects along with strong change management competencies
  • Exceptional executive communication (written, verbal, synthesis)
  • Strong financial, analytical, and strategic acumen
  • Ability to operate across ambiguity and competing priorities
  • High trust, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Adept at influencing without formal authority

 

The Company is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including New York City (NY), Philadelphia (PA, and Princeton (NJ). The salary range posted below reflects market variations across various locations. The offer will be adjusted per geography.

 

The base salary range anticipated for this position is $237,100 - $378,100, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.  In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). 

 

The salary estimate is adjusted to reflect the varying market conditions across different locations, with the with the higher end being more aligned with the New York City job market. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
