Join our Talent Acquisition Germany team in Munich and partner with our business leaders to identify and recruit top talent and be a strong counterpart for our new joiners through their entire recruitment journey.
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our committed and motivated team. You will contribute your expertise in a dynamic environment, assuming responsibility for all stages in our recruitment process from kick-off strategy to successful onboarding. You will also be involved in talent sourcing, talent assessment, and onboarding experience initiatives. In addition you will contribute to projects that bring Munich Re’s diversity ambitions and leadership values to a living practice in our talent acquisition. You will act as a brand ambassador and help to solidify Munich Re’s position as an employer of choice.

Your Job
- Drive the talent strategy by leading end-to-end sourcing efforts and designing innovative, forward-looking recruitment approaches
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to define role requirements and execute effective hiring strategies for both graduate and experienced-level talent
- Proactively identify and engage candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, industry forums, talent communities, and referrals
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including conducting interviews, handling contract negotiations, and aligning closely with the works council
- Build and maintain targeted talent pipelines to ensure readiness for critical and future skill needs across the business
- Advise stakeholders on strategic, sustainable hiring decisions, aligning with our leadership principles, inclusion goals, and long-term workforce planning
- Support global Talent Acquisition initiatives, contributing to positioning Munich Re as an employer of choice in competitive talent markets
- Stay up to date on emerging sourcing trends, tools, and market developments, applying these insights to continuously enhance recruitment outcomes
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably with a focus on IT/Tech roles, and ideally gained in large, matrixed organisations
- Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
- Extensive experience in active sourcing, with a strong command of modern sourcing tools, strategies, and talent engagement techniques
- Proven success managing multiple complex, full-cycle recruitment projects in an international, fast-paced environment
- International experience through previous employment and/or academic studies, demonstrating cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills
- Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills, with the ability to consult hiring managers and HR partners on strategic hiring decisions
- Solid understanding of current best practices in talent acquisition, including employer branding, candidate experience, and onboarding
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, ideally SAP SuccessFactors
- Formal training or certification in LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other sourcing methodologies (e.g., Boolean search, X-ray, social sourcing)
- Fluent in both German and English (minimum C1 level) in spoken and written communication
- Ideally experienced in international project work, contributing to global or cross-border recruiting initiatives
