Successful candidates must be prepared to relocate to the specified job location in the job posting and will be employed directly under the hiring entity’s contractual terms.
This role will be part of the Corporate Functions Tower for Group Technology ( IT 1.12), which oversees IT service delivery and manages key relationships across all corporate and central units, including Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Services/Facilities, and Procurement. The Tower also manages cross-functional domains such as document management, collaboration platforms, corporate websites, and Group-wide Identity Access Management (IAM), as well as selected central platforms and Regulatory/Integrated Risk Management (IRM) product delivery.
Sub-section ITM 1.12.3.2 is seeking an experienced and motivated application developer to take responsibility for the development and operation of applications supporting the Central Reserving Department and the Global Reserving Platform.
This position will be located in Munich.
YOUR JOB
- Responsibility for the implementation of solutions especially with Microsoft technologies (Visual Studio & .Net, SQL Server, MS Azure, …) but also with other technologies like R, TM1, or SAP ABAP
- Mapping of business requirements to systems/technical requirements
- Design and coding of complex changes to our products under consideration of architecture and coding guidelines
- Specification and execution of tests
- Installation, configuration, and customizing of different products
- Support of release upgrades
- Provision of technical documentation
- Technical application support, solving of incidents and problems
- Management of technical subprojects
- Responsibility for the adherence to appropriate standards (coding, performance, monitor capability, audit acceptability, secure environment)
- Review of systems designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology
- Coaching of Application Developers in software development capabilities
- Work in bigger teams where good communication skills are needed
YOUR PROFILE
- Good university degree in computer engineering / IT or similar qualification
- Several years of working experience in software development as a developer and architect and hence in-depth knowledge of the processes of the entire software development and product life cycle
- Strong knowledge about clean coding, object-oriented development principles, patterns, and agile development practices as well as DevOps technologies
- Deep technical knowledge in working with Microsoft technologies like Visual Studio & .Net, SQL Server, MS Azure. Furthermore experience with other technologies like TM1, R, SAP ABAP
- Deep technical knowledge in systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture, cloud architecture
- Experience in managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
- Know-how about test driven design, unit testing and automated testing
- Track record of successful implementations that delivered value to the business
- Willingness to work hard with a high speed and the ability to cope under stress
- Cooperative working style creating a culture of accountability and sharing
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
