Within RIA, the section RIA1.4.3 assumes product ownership and provides support for our RI Admin Systems at A51 (BuPa, FS-CD, FS-RI NL Account + Claims Handling Module, Contract + Risk Manager NL). As part of the Non-Life GPO function, the team performs a multitude of technical processes (e.g. batch & posting period coordination), technical data quality assurance (e.g. data completeness, master & bank data), data streams (e.g. SGL → PGL) and ensures system stability. Furthermore, a wide range of services completes the RIA1.4.3 portfolio (e.g. IT coordination, admin support for Coupa and Concur, SIMA and pre-converter support).

 

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a qualified and committed Consultant who will focus to 50% on BuPa topics and 50% on newly assumed responsibilities in respect of Retro System support within the FSRI environment.

 

 

 

 

Your Job

 

  • Support the team in its responsibilities of maintaining the BuPa tool, e.g. keeping BuPa and bank data information updated; Ensuring a quality-assured data base; Bank data approval for Coupa and Financial Sanctions checks; Collaborating on the definition, acceptance, and implementation of future BuPa system requirements.
  • Assume responsibility for the FS-RI support of Munich Re’s Retro business, e.g. analysis of batch errors of automatic bookings; Recalculate, analyse and review complex retro calculations executed by the system; Understand retro chains and ensure correct OY handling by the system.

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • University degree in computer science or equivalent education with an IT focus
  • Basic knowledge of Underwriting and/or Reinsurance Accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of the SAP-based RI Admin and reporting systems (EDWH, FS-RI, FS-CD) desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on results
  • Excellent team spirit, strong communication skills and a strong service-oriented mindset
  • High quality standards as well as a willingness to perform
  • Ability to work independently, openness to new ideas, and a willingness to innovate
  • Good written and spoken English and German
