The Financial Risk Division holds the global mandate for credit risks written on the liability side of Munich RE’s balance sheet. Our Munich based team comes from 18 different countries, and underwrites credit risks worldwide, both as reinsurance and as primary insurance business, supported by colleagues in the IO (Dublin, Princeton, Sao Paulo, Milan, Beijing). To strengthen our team, we are looking for a new team member who enjoys working in such a dynamic, international and diverse environment.
Together with two more assistants you will support the managers, from the head of the division, department and team heads as well as their teams - with a great deal of international stakeholder contact - in a wide variety of demanding assistant support and independent tasks.
YOUR JOB
- Plan and coordinate efficient and effective trips for all assigned managers and team members, ensuring a seamless travel and meeting experience, in conjunction with clear cost consciousness;
- Organization and coordination of internal meetings or workshops, as well as meetings with business partners;
- Support key clients to prepare their Munich office visits;
- Written and oral communication with business partners at executive level, in German and English;
- Maintenance and further development of Financial Risk Division intranet presence;
- Support of assigned team members in administrative matters;
- Assumption of special tasks, e.g. organization of New Year and Summer parties, or internal coordination of Oktoberfest.
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of professional experience in (team) assistance;
- Fully trustworthy personality, treating all relevant information in the strictest confidence;
- Very good command of German and English, spoken and written; knowledge of another foreign language (in particular Spanish) would be an advantage;
- Very good communication skills, with a courteous and helpful manner in an international environment;
- Competent handling of all Office 365 applications;
- Independent working style, enjoying organizing and coordinating;
- Interest in new topics and new tasks;
- Careful and reliable working methods;
- Ability and willingness to work in a team, fun when dealing with people, explicit service mindset.
