Description: 

Reporting to the Head of HR, India the successful candidate will actively support and partner with employees in the Munich RE India office which has approximately 100+ headcount. The position holder will work closely to support the Head of HR, India in all HR matters and provide comprehensive HR services support to the business.

The position holder will proactively contribute to continuous improvements in HR topics and employee practices that support achievement of business objectives and regional alignment.
 

Your role: 

  • Drive a high-performance culture and support the India HR function in change management processes, in line with current and future business requirements and business performance. 
  • Drive best HR practices to attract, retain, motivate, recognize and reward staff.
  • Review, develop and implement policies & procedures including budgeting & reporting for HR.
  • Manage and implement  end to end remuneration and reward practices aligned with the India market practices and Munich RE internal approaches including the annual salary review, budgeting and provision process, bonus cycles, management of benchmarking and survey, benefits management and review, payroll administration, implementation of the Labour Codes & co-ordination with the Regional Reward for implementation of global and regional programs.
  • Execute all legal & regulatory HR requirements applicable to the India Branch i.e. manage audit requirements, support labour compliance requirements & reporting, implement Group risk & compliance requirements.
  • Support APAC MEA Regional implementation changes for the India office whilst providing guidance and support to the Regional HR Team through local market knowledge.

 

Your Profile: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in appropriate area (e.g. Business, Human Resources, Psychology) (essential).
  • Minimum 5-7 years HR Operational and payroll experience including all facets of HR in Indian jurisdiction is essential
  • Experience in developing and maintaining robust and business focussed relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring service delivery is proactive and relevant, is essential and enabling those relationships in the team.
  • The ability to develop and deliver key messages on the range of HR challenges and topics concisely and in the most relevant manner.
  • Financial services experience and understanding of business and industry pressures and challenges is preferred.
