HR Service Specialist, APAC Middle East and Africa

We are currently looking for a HR Service Specialist APAC MEA based in India as part of our global Human Resources Services chartered to deliver quality services to our Employee and Manager in the Asia Pacific Middle East Africa markets.
Reporting into the APAC MEA HR services Leads, this role will perform employee life events transactions and provide generalist advise and guidance on employee matters to employee, HR business partners and Manager from the region. This role will also be required to ensure quality and compliance services delivered, data quality and governance, transactional reporting, and to champion operation efficiency improvement projects.
Your Role:
- Provides first level HR generalist advice, guidance and support to HR and the business in employee matters
- Escalates case files to HR BPs or other HR representatives if exceptions to policy or special treatment is needed and reports any outstanding HR process issue to HR Services Lead
- Supports on-boarding
- Supports leave and absence processes for specific locations
- Ensures the accurate and timely execution of employee life events and status changes transactions in the system, particularly in relation to hiring, leave management, exit management and retirement
- Responsible for ensuring that SuccessFactors Employee Central is maintained and updated and producing all relevant SuccessFactors reports as required
- Ensures that the SOPs are updated with information on new HR services, practices, legislation, and regulations – for HR Services as well as for employees and managers
- Collect HR compliance paperwork/documentation, and manage employee document digitally.
- May owns one or several regional HR processes, and may acts as a coach for other HR Services employee on those processes
- Collaborate with global HR services to improve process efficiency and stakeholders experience.
Your Profile:
- Minimum Work experience of 3 to 5 years in general HR administration with an understanding of local HR practices and polices
- English language proficiency
- Strong customer focus
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience working to service level agreements in a customer driven environment
- Experience with SuccessFactors HR Information System is required
- Experience with report creation in SuccessFactors is preferred
- Experience with case management tools such as SharePoint, ServiceNow is preferred
