At Munich Re we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Full-stack Developer to join our Team. The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional agile team to deliver high-quality software products. Main responsibilities include development and coordination of cloud-based IT architectures and participation in digital initiatives.
Your Job
- Full-stack software development of new features, code refactorization, code maintenance tasks
- Collaborating with business and IT headquarter to ensure applications align with the organization’s goals, customer needs and regulatory requirements
- Discuss requirements with customers and business analysts and interact with various functions within the company.
- Customizing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf software products;
- Supporting and conducting application service requests and carry out software maintenance tasks
Your Profile
- University degree, preferably in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualification;
- Round two years’ experience as full-stack developer;
- Confidence with Typescript. Angular (version > 5) and Node/NestJs is a must. SQL database knowledge is needed. Docker & Kubernetes Is valued.
- Experience with multiple front-end and back-end languages and libraries is a plus (e.g. Python, Ionic, NX Monorepo, Redis);
- Familiar with Microsoft Azure & DevOps (or similar platforms for software development and operations);
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail;
- Team player with competency to interact in a professional way;
- Growth mindset, willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills;
- Fluent spoken and written Italian and English;
