This role provides administrative and entry‑level underwriting support to the team, helping to manage existing business and deliver a positive customer experience. It is ideal for someone early in their career who is organised, comfortable with administration, and keen to learn.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and underwriting support to help the team deliver a customer‑focused service.
  • Work with colleagues to meet service standards and team targets.
  • Support renewal processing, policy changes, and general case management under guidance.
  • Accurately process adjustments and maintain up‑to‑date records.
  • Help gather information, including underwriting surveys, and prepare cases for review.
  • Respond to customer and broker queries, escalating where needed.
  • Build positive working relationships through clear and timely communication.
  • Follow underwriting processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Record all activity in HSB’s CRM system (Microsoft 365 Dynamics).
  • Take part in training, learning, and team projects as required.
