About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Manager to join our Engineering division. As a Technical Training Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Engineering teams receive the necessary technical training and support to comply with QA standards, SAFed, and UKAS skills accreditation requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the identification, development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of technical training and support, while maintaining compliance with relevant legal, statutory, and accreditation requirements. Additionally, you will lead the development and standardisation of processes to drive continuous improvement in quality, output, cost, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the technical training department, with accountability for developing and implementing training strategies that meet business needs.
- Identify and address training needs, developing and implementing effective training requests.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality assurance requirements, maintaining the competency of Engineers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Drive operational and strategic excellence in technical training, delivering high-quality results and continuous improvement.
- Provide exceptional leadership and management, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve outstanding performance.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a technical training manager or closely related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills to inspire and motivate others.
- Proven experience with liaising with stakeholders and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Effective presentation skills and experience organising, delivering and reviewing training courses.
Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline, business management, human resources, or a related field.
- Other qualifications may be considered based on experience
