What You’ll Be Doing
The Senior Engineer (Pressure) will act as the technical lead engineer for all activity associated with the provision of Major Pressure system inspections and provide support to the Principal Engineer (Pressure).
This role will actively lead the major pressure portfolio ensuring effective planning and delivery are undertaken for clients in accordance with company and regulatory requirements whilst also supporting PE Pressure Systems with other inspection related support including (but not limited to);
- WSE review
- Report verification
- Technical training audit and assessment
- In-service inspection (intermediate and major)

- An in depth understanding of pressure systems, associated equipment with both regulatory knowledge and experience.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine drive to deliver outstanding service

- The ability to work unsupervised and under your own initiative, with excellent time management.
- A flexible mindset and commitment to working safely and effectively across varied environments
- Ability to follow and apply statutory requirements and guidelines and company defined policies, processes and procedures.
What You’ll Need
- 3 years minimum experience in relevant Mechanical Engineering Disciplines.
- Ideally already registered as an Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council, or in the process of attaining Incorporated Engineer status, as defined by the Engineering Council.
- NVQ Level 4 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Willingness to travel across the UK&I as required to meet the needs of the business.
