The Employee Advisory Partner of  EULA acts as a trusted advisor to Munich Re employees in the region. Reporting to the Head of Employee Advisory, EULA, this role will provide guidance on complex employee issues and enquiries, playing a key role in providing day to day and strategic people solutions, that shape and influence all aspects of the Employee journey  and  an optimal employee experience, strengthening our positions as an employer of choice and supporting the business to achieve its goals.

 

Your Role

 

  • Advising on complex employee issues and managing employee relations cases
  • Developing and implementing  HR policies to promote ethical behavior, compliance,  ensure risk mitigation, an optimal employment environment, and individual and business success.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact for employees at all stages of the employment life cycle and journey, addressing their queries and concerns, including but not limited to individual employee development, recognition, total reward & benefit matters, and providing guidance on HR policies and workplace regulations
  • Analyzing HR metrics including employee sentiment, feedback and case data, providing insights to inform leadership and drive continuous improvement in processes, policies and offerings that impact the employee experience.
  • Collaborating with HR teams, local labor law / employment law experts, and other stakeholders to ensure a compliant and effective approach to employee relations.
  • Collaborating with HR teams to support the co-creation of a high quality, globally consistent, aligned and harmonized approach which can be repeated across jurisdictions within the region and throughout the employee journey, while using knowledge and experience to accommodate necessary local adaptations.
  • Supporting regional and global initiatives, such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) topics, employee engagement surveys, and other projects related to the employment life cycle and journey.
  • Any other responsibilities and duties assigned to the Employee Advisory Partner role as the Global HR function evolves

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Overarching understanding of all HR processes and policies to be able to address most frequent employee enquiries
  • Existing knowledge of labor / employment laws and employment regulations within the EULA region and their practical application in the workplace is preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in process optimization, ensuring efficient and scalable employee advisory services
  • Data-driven mindset, leveraging HR analytics and case resolution metrics to enhance advisory outcomes
  • Empathetic, objective, and solutions-oriented, with excellent attention to detail.  
  • Highly motivated and curious with a pro-active approach and the appetite to continuously learn and develop within role and to understand the wider business
  • Experience working in a fast paced, continuously changing matrix environment, with good organization skills to support management of multiple deliverables at the same time
  • Experience working autonomously and as part of a Regional or Global team preferred.
  • Ideally fluent in English and Spanish, with other region specific languages preferable, but not essential
  • Recognized HR qualification is desirable.
