We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated Technical Accountant in this demanding, dynamic and international setting, contributing with expertise and engagement in the growing multicultural department. You should have a keen interest in designing and implementing efficient, innovative processes; be an independent and curious thinker; and take pleasure in working in an international context.
Your job
- Verify statements of account from our clients based on the terms and conditions of the wording and by checking specific calculations
- Process the statements of account in our SAP FS-RI systems, including the use of increasing automation tools
- Arrange for payments, request outstanding balances and reconcile account items
- Ensure data quality and perform quality checks at contract level
- Enter and update treaty data in close liaison with our operational units
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external touchpoints, ensuring seamless cooperation, efficient processes, and a consistently client-focused approach
- Analyze and present insurance and accounting matters to various stakeholders
- Participate in cross-departmental working groups and projects
- Take ownership of a topic and coordinate it worldwide
- Contribute to automation and digitalisation projects, and their worldwide implementation
- Help develop new methods and processes aimed at creating a thoughtful digital working environment
Your profile
- Business degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s), preferably with a focus on accounting, controlling, finance or IT; recent graduates or individuals with less experience are also welcome
- Knowledge of Accounting, preferably also of Insurance and/or Reinsurance
- Analytical skills and accuracy in dealing with figures
- Self-confident approach combined with a high degree of dedication to working effectively and independently, willing to face new responsibilities
- Strong communication skills, high degree of intercultural competence and team spirit
- High level of commitment and initiative
- Expertise in MS-Office, particularly Excel, and preferably in SAP tools
- Good written and spoken Spanish and English
