RIA LH Madrid, is responsible for Life & Health technical accounting for Latin America and Iberia. We are looking for a very experienced, flexible and highly motivated Client Accountant Manager in this interesting, dynamic and international setting, providing service to the LH1.2 Business Unit and Management Team via adequate reporting and comprehensive analysis for the administered markets. The CAM is located between a Senior and the Manager position and will directly report to the Head of RIA LH1.2.

YOUR JOB
- Main contact partner for Client Management, Client Pricing and Underwriting in respect of comprehensive, complex analysis and reporting for entire portfolio (excl Italy), esp. related to Key/Top clients, if necessary in cooperation with the other team members (cross-team responsibility).
- Advising Client Management, Client Pricing and Underwriting on accounting and reporting related questions and issues and providing comprehensive solutions
- In general close cooperation with the Munich Client Accountant Managers in RIA
- Leading and supporting cross-unit and – where applicable – global projects in cooperation with the Client Account Managers in RIA Munich
- Supporting the team actively in order to ensure data quality and quantity during peak periods (e.g. key clients, renewal, close off, claims events, etc. )
- Safeguarding service standards agreed with the business units and develop new ideas taking into account efficiency requirements
- Participating in client reviews/audits and internal reviews incl. the preparation of internal audits
- Supporting the Seniors in analyzing and interpreting data for statistical anomalies and deriving appropriate measures, esp. in connection with future IFRS17 QA
- Development and definition of checks in collaboration with RIA and Business Units
- Supporting the optimization of processes and the automatization of standard tasks (workflow, creation of dashboards, Power BI)
- Supporting the team in respect of trainings for team members and/or cedents
- Being prepared to hold presentations for Management, CM, UW, CP and Valuation
- Develop strong relationships with all interfaces (e.g. UW, CM, CP, Valuation, LH1 Finance, GPO, etc.) to ensure that all consulting and service needs are met
- Being prepared to go on business trips in order to solve issues
- Being prepared to go the extra mile and react flexibly, whenever necessary, also in respect of working at home or in the office
YOUR PROFILE
- In depth and longtime knowledge of reinsurance, accounting and/or claims handling with specific professional experience
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills and an ability to work without supervision
- Very good understanding of the relevant processes in RIA and with all interfaces (CM, UW, CP, Valuation, etc.) incl. the internal control systems (ICS)
- Competence in developing and enhancing internal client relations and keenness to accept responsibility
- Negotiating skills, fundamental management skills, creative mindset
- Good English language skills
- Strong client focus and solution-oriented approach, high degree of flexibility
- Very strong service mindset and high level of commitment and initiative
- Highly interested in and willing to develop, maintain and transfer know-how
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, clear and engaging
- Confident user of the RIA systems landscape
