Description: 

Life and Health Southern Europe and Latam is seeking a Digital Solutions Specialist to join our Propositions Development Team. As part of our digital offering, this role bridges the gap between IT, operations, underwriting, and business functions to deliver cutting-edge solutions in the life & health insurance domain.

 

The Life and Health Southern Europe and Latam Propositions Development team is responsible for the offering, maintenance and development of our digital solutions.

 

The candidate will manage projects, support clients on system integration and design workflows aligned with our digital strategy.

 

Your Job

  • Workflow and System Integration: Understand, develop and optimize workflows that interconnect client’s IT systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration across departments.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in creating project plans, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables together with Munich Re Automation Solutions (MRAS).
  • Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensure all technological solutions meet cybersecurity standards, including configurations for servers, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between clients, IT, underwriting, operations, and MRAS to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Production Monitoring: Oversee live operations to ensure the effective performance of implemented solutions, troubleshooting and improving systems as needed.
  • Workshops and Training: Organize workshops focusing on system integration, underwriting, and data analysis to drive continuous improvement.

 

Your profile

 

  • Experience:
    • 5-10 years in IT consulting or project management with a focus on life or health insurance or financial services.
    • Strong background in database management, system integration, and analytics.
    • Proven success in managing IT projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in agile project management and DevOps principles.
    • Knowledge of IT security measures, including certificate management and network security.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
    • Ability to manage cross-disciplinary teams effectively.
  • Language:
    • Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
  • Experience in data analytics and cloud-based IT solutions.
  • Background in underwriting or operational process improvement in life or health insurance.
