Title:  Intern- Actuarial

Your Role: 

Assist the Head of Valuation in carrying out projects, analysis or specified tasks in a time bound manner. It could involve exposure to any of the functions of the team including the valuation of MunichRe India Branch Life & Health reinsurance business liabilities for Statutory and Internal reporting purposes (IFRS17, Solvency II or Indian GAAP reporting basis), preparation of financial reports and analyses and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements relating to valuation of liabilities.

Your Profile:

Education & Experience

Pursuing Graduate / Post Graduate qualification from a reputed institution

Preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Finance.

Competencies

• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel, power query and SQL (essential), R and python (preferred)
• Awareness of Indian Statutory Reporting, Solvency II and IFRS17 would be preferred
• Excellent technical and analytical skills, logical and concise in approach and demonstrate attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work within a team environment, outcome focused
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
