Munich Re Facultative and Corporate (F&C) is looking for a motivated and detailed orientated working student to support our underwriting teams in delivering a global training initiative. Acting as one team across 20 countries, our F&C property underwriting teams specializes in single-risk direct insurance and facultative reinsurance property coverage solutions for large corporate clients across the globe.
You will have an active role in the development of a global underwriting project focused on IT training-related topics in single-risk property underwriting. As part of this team, you can expect a diverse range of tasks with the opportunity to independently develop technical proposed solutions and get insights into various underwriting IT topics. You will work closely with the subject matter experts and project leads to help bring innovative digital training content to life and ensure smooth coordination across all underwriting teams.
What can you expect?
- Training Content Management: Provide support for training related content management by maintaining and improving innovative IT training content on SharePoint, while ensuring accessibility and up-to-date materials.
- Global Coordination: Assist in internal coordination across all global teams and organizing training sessions.
- Media & IT Resources Development: Support the creation and editing of training media and material including training videos using basic editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar).
- Communication Support: Help with planning and developing communication materials such as presentations, announcements, newsletters, and training updates for global stakeholders.
Your Profile
- You are an enrolled student in a study program related to Business Analytics or Administration, Management & Technology, Finance, Mathematics or with a similar focus.
- Very good knowledge of Office 360 applications (including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and previous experience with Adobe Creative Cloud would be a plus.
- You have already gained first basic project supporting IT projects or business units.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, pro-activeness and working independently.
- Previous technical project-related working experience in (re-)insurance and underwriting would be a plus.
- Business fluent in English (reading and writing).
- Good communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a professional, international working environment.
This working student position requires 20 hours per week, starting August 2025, and lasting a minimum of six months.
Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
