Munich Re's Central Life Reserving (CLR) division oversees the reserving and financial reporting within the Life and Health Reinsurance Portfolio. Our team plays a crucial role in Life and Health Reinsurance’s success by providing reliable valuations and insightful analysis. We ensure consistent reporting, diligent monitoring, and compliance utilizing state-of-the-art tools and technology. Your Job

  • Support us in our goal to be more efficient by automating our reporting tools
  • Enhance our analytics of Solvency II reserves and risk capital
  • Further development of our Risk calculation kernel
  • Documentation of CLR reporting process
  • Assistance in ad-hoc risk model topics 

Your Profile

  • Analytical and conceptual skill
  • Innovative and solution-oriented approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic actuarial knowledge is an advantage
  • Very good command of spoken and written English in addition to the willingness to work in an international environment
  • Microsoft Office, especially Excel is a must as well as the capability of programming either in Matlab, Python or R. VBA, Power BI and SQL is a plus

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
