Description: 

Group Taxation is responsible for fulfilling the legal tax obligations of Munich Re and its domestic subsidiaries, preparing the Group's tax reporting, and providing expert advice across all areas of national and international tax law.
Our Tax Reporting GLOBE / CbCR department prepares Munich Re Group's Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) and the Tax Transparency Report. We are also responsible for the Group-wide implementation of Global Minimum Taxation (OECD Pillar 2 / GloBE), providing strategic advice on global minimum taxation, and maintaining a Group-wide tax reporting tool. The upcoming Public CbCR implementation will also be part of our team.

Your Job

  • Law & Regulation: Monitor OECD Pillar 2 developments and national tax regulation changes. Establish Munich Re guidelines and standards for GloBE
  • Compliance: Advise our global subsidiaries on data reporting and technical matters for GloBE and CbCR
  • Tax Technology: Support the automation and implementation of innovative tax technology solutions to enhance tax-related business processes
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze and evaluate tax data and prepare clear, insightful reports for Management and external stakeholders


Your Profile

  • University degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, tax law, or a related field
  • Professional experience in Tax or Accounting, gained in an audit or tax consulting firm, corporate tax/accounting department or tax authorities or related field
  • Good knowledge of OECD Pillar 2 Model Rules and German Minimum Tax Act
  • Excellent analytical skills with a fast grasp of complex issues
  • Keen interest in working with data, processes, and technology
  • Solution-oriented, independent, and responsible working style
  • Strong team spirit and proactive communication skills
  • Good command of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in German and very good English skills
