Join our Talent Acquisition Germany team in Munich and partner with our business leaders to identify and recruit top talent and be a strong counterpart for our new joiners through their entire recruitment journey.
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our committed and motivated team. You will contribute your expertise in a dynamic environment, assuming responsibility for all stages in our recruitment process from kick-off strategy to successful onboarding. You will also be involved in talent sourcing, talent assessment, and onboarding experience initiatives. In addition you will contribute to projects that bring Munich Re’s diversity ambitions and leadership values to a living practice in our talent acquisition. You will act as a brand ambassador and help to solidify Munich Re’s position as an employer of choice.

Your Job

Drive the talent strategy by owning end-to-end recruitment for your portfolio and acting as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers and HR Business Partners

Translate business needs into forward-looking, skills-based hiring strategies aligned with workforce planning and future capability requirements

Leverage modern sourcing approaches, including AI-supported tools, talent intelligence platforms, and diverse channels (e.g. LinkedIn, talent communities, referrals), to identify and engage high-quality talent

Build, maintain, and activate targeted talent pipelines for critical and future skill areas, ensuring long-term hiring readiness

Deliver an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience through transparent communication, efficient processes, and a consultative approach

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including interviews, offer management, contract negotiations, and close collaboration with the works council

Use data, market insights, and pipeline analytics to inform hiring strategies, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve recruitment outcomes and quality of hire

Apply and continuously explore AI-enabled recruiting tools and technologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability, while ensuring a responsible and human-centered approach

Advise stakeholders on sustainable and inclusive hiring decisions, aligned with leadership principles, DEI ambitions, and long-term organizational priorities

Contribute to global Talent Acquisition initiatives and actively support positioning Munich Re as an employer of choice in competitive talent markets

Stay at the forefront of recruiting trends, technologies, and labor market developments, proactively driving innovation and continuous improvement in your area of responsibility
Your Profile

Several years of experience in Talent Acquisition (minimum 5 years) within a complex, international environment

Strong expertise in active sourcing and talent engagement, including the use of modern sourcing tools, Boolean/X-ray search, and talent intelligence platforms

Proven track record in managing complex, full-cycle recruitment processes in a fast-paced, stakeholder-intensive environment

Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills, with the ability to influence hiring decisions and act as a trusted partner to business leaders

Solid understanding of modern Talent Acquisition practices, including candidate experience, hiring manager experience, employer branding, and onboarding

Experience with data-driven recruiting, including the use of metrics and insights (e.g. pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-hire, quality of hire) to guide decision-making

Confidence in leveraging AI-enabled recruiting tools and TA technologies (e.g. for sourcing, screening support, content creation, or process automation), combined with sound judgment and ethical awareness

Ability to apply skills-based hiring approaches, focusing on capabilities, potential, and future skill needs rather than purely formal qualifications

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors) and digital recruiting ecosystems

International exposure and strong cross-cultural collaboration skills

Fluent in German and English (minimum C1), both written and spoken

Curious, adaptable, and innovation-driven mindset, with a strong motivation to continuously improve recruiting approaches, tools, and stakeholder experience
