The Central Division Global Real Estate and Services (RES) is responsible for corporate real estate management within the Reinsurance Group worldwide. We deliver innovative solutions and services for the modern working environment that meet the requirements of our partners across the businesses globally.

To support the company’s climate ambitions and to meet evolving regulatory and non financial reporting requirements, we are looking for a Sustainability Manager to join our interdisciplinary Resource Steering team.

This position is limited until September 2027 due to a parental leave cover.

Your Job

  • Coordinate non‑financial reporting for Own Operations at business field and local level, including data collection and verification
  • Define and implement robust processes for efficient data gathering and KPI tracking
  • Support the Munich Re Group Environmental Manager in further developing and implementing the ESG strategy for Own Operations
  • Evaluate the corporate real estate target picture with regard to non‑financial objectives and track progress against the overall sustainability ambition
  • Advise business sections such as Food & Beverage and Events on sustainability‑related topics
  • Provide support and training seminars for internal stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in environmental or sustainability sciences, real estate management, accounting, controlling, or a related field
  • First professional experience in non‑financial reporting, either in a corporate environment or within a consulting context
  • Experience in working on global projects and within international networks
  • Very good command of MS Office tools, especially Excel; knowledge of Sphera is an advantage
  • Independent and structured working style with a high level of accuracy and reliability
  • High degree of self-motivation and drive
  • Willingness and ability to work on‑site at our Munich office to a certain extent
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
