This role will be part of the Corporate Functions Tower for Group Technology ( IT 1.12), which oversees IT service delivery and manages key relationships across all corporate and central units, including Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Services/Facilities, and Procurement. The Tower also manages cross-functional domains such as document management, collaboration platforms, corporate websites, and Group-wide Identity Access Management (IAM), as well as selected central platforms and Regulatory/Integrated Risk Management (IRM) product delivery.

To strengthen our IT team working alongside the Group Taxation Department, we are seeking a proficient Solution Architect for one of our group systems. The primary technologies in use are C#, SQL, and cloud computing. As part of an international product team, you will play a central role in ensuring high-quality requirements, excellent solutions, and compliance. The position is located in Munich.

Your Job

  • Requirements Management:
    Identify, document, and structure technical requirements resulting from internal processes, security requirements, and related areas. Review and structure business requirements.
  • Solution Architecture:
    Lead the development of the architecture for a complex system, ensuring consistency with the target IT architecture and all requirements.
  • Coding:
    Implement new features and optimize existing software using a modern development environment with Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools.
  • Compliance & Security:
    Ensure the product meets all relevant security, regulatory, and compliance standards.
    Support internal and external audits.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
    Plan, coordinate, and manage testing activities.
  • Methodology & Governance:
    Ensure the consistent application of the methodology (OneEssentials) and contribute to governance, standards, and best practices.
  • Product Support & Operations:
    Analyze, identify, and resolve application issues and support the Product Manager, e.g., in planning and operational activities.
  • Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with international product team members.
    Ensure regular and accurate communication with all stakeholders and collaborate with the business department, Group Taxation.
  • Risk Management:
    Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Information Technology or a comparable qualification
  • Strong understanding of the full software development and product lifecycle, gained through experience in various roles (e.g., Application Developer, Business Analyst, Solution Architect)
  • Several years of experience with C#, SQL, and cloud computing
  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills, combined with the ability to present complex topics clearly and understandably
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset in an international environment, fostering a culture of accountability and knowledge sharing
  • High level of commitment and a flexible mindset for tackling a wide range of tasks
  • Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
