Realytix Zero is a globally scalable technology platform and a core pillar of Underwriting Technologies within Munich Re’s Digital Solutions P&C division. Our mission: digitize and automate single-risk underwriting for insurance and reinsurance, empowering business owners with self-configuration tools. Our diverse, agile team brings together expertise from underwriting, product management, IT, pricing, actuarial science, and data engineering.

For this growing, dynamic, and diverse team, we provide an exciting role for a sales & business development lead who will be able to drive our further growth. You will develop and continuously enhance our sales & business development concept and will drive the scaling process of our platform. An understanding of our platform USPs, features and technology will be the basis for your work. You will also drive technological platform developments based on the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our colleagues in New York and Bogota.

Ultimately business development to grow the business transacted is the most important goal for the whole Realytix Zero & Underwriting Technologies Team.

Your Job

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy to drive Realytix Zero’s further growth.
  • Identify and realize market- and client-specific approaches that differentiate our value proposition.
  • Create high-impact sales materials tailored to various customer segments.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new clients and proactively generate new business opportunities - both within Munich Re Group and externally (including new markets and channels), with a strong focus on Europe.
  • Manage the leads and opportunities pipeline, ensuring continuous business growth.
  • Consult with business stakeholders to understand needs and influence decisions, selecting the most effective communication and sales tactics.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to align platform development with client needs.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues in New York, Bogotá, and across the globe.

Your Profile

  • University degree (preferably in economics, mathematics or computer science) or another similar insurance qualification (preferably with several years of professional working experience).
  • Several years of experience in sales or client management, ideally in a digital technology environment.
  • Underwriting experience in property, casualty, cyber, aviation, or life (treaty or facultative) is a strong plus.
  • Strong affinity for technology and digital innovation.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills (agile experience is a plus).
  • Creative, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills in an international context.
  • Agile project management skills (insurance, reinsurance, IT or other).
  • Fluent in business English and German; additional languages are an asset.
