Project Manager - SAP SuccessFactors (m/f/d)*

This role will be part of the Corporate Functions Tower for Group Technology ( IT 1.12), which oversees IT service delivery and manages key relationships across all corporate and central units, including Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Services/Facilities, and Procurement. The Tower also manages cross-functional domains such as document management, collaboration platforms, corporate websites, and Group-wide Identity Access Management (IAM), as well as selected central platforms and Regulatory/Integrated Risk Management (IRM) product delivery.
As a Project Manager you will be accountable for executing a diverse range of projects that support our digitization of HR processes. You’ll have the responsibility to deliver results on time and budget, working with global teams across a range of IT disciplines including Architecture, Service Delivery, Application Teams and external service providers and vendors.
Your job
- Responsible for and perform multi-project management for various HR processes including implementation of additional modules in the global SAP HR SuccessFactors, SAP HCM and variety of HR Tools.
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
- Ensure adherence and adoption of Munich Re’s project management methodology – ‘One Essentials’ and compliance processes, incl. documentation, process description and quality reports.
- Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
- Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.
- Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.
- Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities. Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.
- Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction, including external implementation partner.
Your profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- More than 7 years of professional experience in managing complex IT and digital transformation projects, including large-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementation programs within an international HR environment.
- Proven track record in program and project management, covering all project phases from business case definition through implementation and rollout.
- Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors and its integration into complex enterprise landscapes, ideally including SAP HCM and related HR applications.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with compliance- related topics in the insurance industry, e.g., DORA and VAIT
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders, technical teams, external vendors, and implementation partners.
- Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and resources in global and cross-functional environments.
- Familiarity with agile and traditional project management methodologies; PMI, PRINCE2, Scrum, or similar certification is an advantage.
- Recognized as proactive and with high problem solving competence
