HSB is a leading engineering and technical risk insurer, providing equipment breakdown and specialty insurance, inspection services, engineering consulting and IoT solutions. A key pillar of our IoT strategy is the IoT Data Platform (IDP), which brings together technology and insurance to power a partner ecosystem and enable data-driven products and solutions at scale.
To support our growing partner network and ensure efficient execution, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Business Development team. This role is ideal for someone, who is excited to work at the intersection of technology, insurance and industry by combining strong partner and stakeholder communication with structured and hands-on project delivery. You will help partners launch new data-driven risk and financial service solutions that improve loss prevention and support business model transformation.
Your Job
- Manage day-to-day execution of customer opportunities (plans, timelines, milestones, next steps) to keep deals moving from proposal to delivery readiness
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs and alignment across product, platform/tech, underwriting, actuarial, legal/compliance and operations
- Drive clear and consistent partner/stakeholder communication: agendas, minutes, action tracking, decision documentation and follow-ups
- Structure and document customer needs into actionable requirements, supporting tech/data discovery and ensuring feasibility with the Insurance Data Platform
- Identify and implement process improvements (playbooks, standard workflows, governance) to increase execution efficiency and quality
Your Profile
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience in project management, delivery management and similar tasks ideally in B2B(2B/C) PaaS or SaaS environments
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Solid project management fundamentals (planning, tracking, dependencies, risk management)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders and international teams
- Collaborative mindset and expertise in working across functions in a corporate environment
- Fluent German and English is mandatory; additional languages are an asset
