The section ICT Risk Assurance constitutes a central team of subject matter experts for the area of Information and Communication Technology Risks’ (ICT Risks) and related risk management topics. Within this subset of non-financial risks (NFR), the team contributes the necessary specialist know how to advance the relevant control frameworks, challenge 1st LoD units, coordinate global exercises as well as response to incidents of global relevance.

This team maintains a strong relationship with other central NFR functions, the regional NFR heads as well as relevant 1st LoD functions - esp. Central IT, Central Procurement and Global Real Estate & Services. The team also collaborates closely with the primary insurance segments and supports cross-segment information sharing.
In severe incident and crisis situations, the team actively manages these cases and thus fosters Munich Re Group’s global organizational resilience.

 

Your Job


• Support the BCM project team in a variety of tasks with a focus on data analysis and visualization
• Help create and consolidate reports (via Archer / Excel), identifying trends and gaps
• Support internal and external project communication
• Additional tasks (if time allows), such as creating Power Point slides and process documentation, SharePoint or MS Teams administration, etc.

 

Your Profile


• Very strong data analysis skills in MS Excel; proven track record via certification, contests, internships is a plus
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self-starter with solid critical thinking skills
• Reliable, accurate, with attention to detail
• Strong interest in insurance and reinsurance topics
• Fluent English, German is a big plus

 

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
