The Global Mobility Team within our Global HR function is responsible for the global coordination and operational implementation of international assignments and extended business trips within the Reinsurance & Specialty Group as well as for setting relevant guidelines. We act as the expert advisors to managers, employees and HR colleagues concerning all forms of cross-border employment and ensure that these are implemented in a legally compliant manner.
Your Job
• Support in the day-to-day business of the operational processing of international assignments and extended business trips (e.g. payroll instructions, preparation of social security application forms, preparation of contracts)
• Prepare and provide all employer documents to our tax advisors for each employee on an international assignment or extended business trip required for the preparation of the tax returns
• Support the EU Posted Workers’ Directive process for business travelers (e.g. reporting, preparation of required documents)
• Preparation of cost/payment overviews for internal invoicing and tax audit purposes
• Review of certain processes and improvement of processes, documentation, creation of manuals
• Support with ad-hoc queries of employees and HR colleagues
Your Profile
• You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program
• You are fluent in English and have a good command of German
• You have advanced Excel skills and are proficient in all other Microsoft tools and applications
• You are a well-organized person who can handle multiple tasks in an orderly manner
• You are able to work with strong attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all tasks
• You like to work independently and are a team player at the same time
We are looking for a starting date as of mid-November 2025 for the duration of half a year. Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. Your current degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
