Group Investment Management (GIM) is responsible for managing the proprietary investment portfolio of Munich Re and ERGO with a volume of approximately EUR 250 billion. Our section is responsible for the operational cash management of Munich Re AG.
Your Job
- Processing bank statements, including reconciling and posting incoming payments
- Recording manual payments in the corporate payment factory
- Supporting month‑end and closing activities
- Contributing to operational cash management, including payment runs and third‑party payments
- Supporting domestic and international payment transactions
- Cooperating with national and international banks as well as internal interfaces
- Assisting with testing and system adjustments (e.g. SAP, TRAX)
- Contributing to projects and initiatives in an international environment
- Supporting the further development and automation of processes
- Assisting with regular updates within the cash management area
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on Finance or Treasury
- Interest in cash management, treasury and related financial processes
- Very good MS Office skills and ideally initial experience with SAP
- Knowledge of data management and data visualizations (Power BI, Excel)
- Analytical mindset, structured way of working and a strong willingness to learn
- Team spirit, strong communication skills and a service‑oriented approach
- Willingness to take on responsibility and contribute in an international environment
Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
