Job Summary
The HR Services Senior Technician is a key member of the HR Services Germany team, responsible for delivering efficient and high-quality HR operational support while driving process excellence and continuous improvement. The role provides functional guidance to team members, acts as a subject matter expert for HR service delivery, and serves as a central point of contact for HR Services-related topics.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, the position supports the optimization of HR processes, the development of HR systems and tools, and the successful implementation of projects and initiatives.
Reporting to the ‘Head of HR Services Germany’, you will be responsible for the following:
Your Job
- Managing employee inquiries, HR service requests, including complex and escalated cases, and other HR Services operational activities, ensuring timely resolution, service excellence, and continuous improvement of the employee experience
- Ensuring high-quality and compliant management of employee data and HR documentation by combining hands-on execution of new or complex cases with oversight of data standards, distribution, and filing practices
- Contributing to and facilitating structured team exchanges and knowledge sharing
- Driving and contributing to the design, review, and optimization of HR service processes
- Developing and continuously enhancing capacity and efficiency optimization initiatives, improving workload distribution and overall service delivery
- Acting as key user and supporting system enhancements, testing, and implementation and adoption activities
- Driving the documentation and streamlining of HR processes, work instructions, and guidelines, ensuring high-quality knowledge management, transparency, and easy accessibility across teams and target groups
- Acting as central point of contact and interface for HR Services operations topics, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments and stakeholders
- Serving as deputy to the Head of HR Services Germany, providing input to operational decisions based on expertise and data insights
- Supporting projects and transformation initiatives, taking responsibility of process-driven topics and ensuring measurable improvements
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training or university degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, combined with extensive experience in HR operations and personnel administration within a shared services environment.
- Strong systems and digital affinity, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and expert-level knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors; experienced in service and knowledge management tools (e.g. ServiceNow).
- Highly developed organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage complex workflows and ensure high-quality, timely service delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a solution-oriented and constructive approach to conflict resolution.
- Proven experience in leading and supporting projects and transformation initiatives, including implementation of new processes, tools, or areas of responsibility.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, combined with a continuous improvement mindset and drive for innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels, acting as a reliable and confident interface partner.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and professional integrity, with a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Solid knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) and their practical application within HR processes.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken), enabling effective communication in an international environment.
