Global Procurement Excellence Consultant (m/f/d)* Fixed-term position

As Global Procurement Excellence Consultant, you will support the continuity of Central Procurement’s process excellence activities. Your focus will be on business process management, global process governance, stakeholder engagement, and the maintenance and further development of the global Central Procurement process landscape.
Fixed-term position from 01.11.2026 to 29.02.2028.
Your Job
- Maintain and continuously improve the global Central Procurement process landscape, ensuring process documentation remains accurate, transparent, and fit for purpose
- Apply business process management methodologies to analyse, document, standardise, and optimise procurement processes
- Coordinate process reviews and updates in response to business, organisational, system, compliance, or governance changes
- Support and advise process owners on governance requirements, process standards, and controls
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive standardisation, transparency, efficiency, and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate closely with international stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal, HR, and other business functions
- Contribute BPM expertise to procurement projects, including process impact assessments, governance considerations, and implementation activities
- Develop communication, training, and awareness materials to support stakeholder adoption of processes, tools, and governance standards
Your Profile
- University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Process Management, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in Procurement, Consulting, Business Process Management, Operational Excellence, or a comparable transformation environment
- Proven experience in process mapping, process documentation, process governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, governance principles, compliance requirements, and Source-to-Pay environments
- Experience with ADONIS, BPMN, or comparable process modelling tools is highly desirable
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
- Fluent English skills; German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally depending on project needs
